Group transport is available to not for profit community organisations wanting to hire our vehicles whose clients meet our eligibility criteria.
A call for Expression of Interest from groups requesting a vehicle will be promoted annually (September) with an allocation being made after a review of all applications has been done with all groups being advised of the outcome.
Any group requesting transport outside of the annual EOI period is invited to apply throughout the year.
All groups using their own drivers must provide a copy of their current Public Liability Insurance (Certificate of Currency) to cover their members for incidents other than motor vehicle accidents.
We ask the group coordinator to provide a support person on each bus trip to supervise and attend to the needs of Group members.
A volunteer driver will be provided subject to availability; however groups are welcome to provide their own drivers. All drivers are required to register with Community Transport and hold a minimum LR Class Licence.
